Overheard at my house...

Jared loves to point out to us everything that God has made. It is quite cute. But then this happened...

Jared was sitting in his highchair finishing his lunch. He had obviously gotten bored with it because he had begun to finger paint with his applesauce and had made a lovely mess.

Me to Jared in a "not so happy tone": Who made this mess?

Jared gets a strange look on his face, like he is really really thinking hard. He is quiet for a short time and then....

Jared: GOD! (He says this with much enthusiasm, like he has truly thought up a good answer that will surely get him out of his current trouble!)

I had to laugh at that one! Nice try son!
