It's Alive! (Cell phone saga...Part 2)

Okay....so we got the new cell phone and DH used it for the day. Tonight my oldest daughter suggested that we try plugging in the old phone again...just to see if it will work. Why not? It's seems to have dried out. And guess what! IT WORKS! It's a miracle! (Didn't even get a chance to try the bag of dry rice, Nan!) But now the dilemma....do we keep the new phone or send it back since we have a 15 day trial period and just have them reactivate the old phone again? Will it last??? Is it safe to use...will it "blow-up" as soon as we return the new phone??? Has anyone ever actually had a phone go through the wash AND survive??? I imagine we will probably end up keeping the new phone in the end, as, well.... it is a NEW TOY for goodness sakes! And it takes pictures, whereas the last one didn't! But we are going back and forth about it anyway...it really wasn't in the budget at this time to upgrade to a newer fancier phone. Hmmmmm....decisions decisions decisions!
