A Belated Birthday Wish....

One week ago tomorrow, my oldest daughter, Bethany turned 8! Due to all the craziness that this time of year brings, and also a few days of caring for sick children, I am just now getting around to wishing her a Happy Birthday online!

We were able to do something fun and different to celebrate the BIG DAY! Mommy found a sitter for the boys and the girls and I attended a musical production of Beauty and the Beast at a local Children's Theater. We attended the event with about 80 others from our church. It was so nice to be able to spend some time "just us girls" and we all thoroughly enjoyed the show! That afternoon we had a friend come over to play and stay for dinner, and another family came to celebrate and eat dinner with us as well! It turned out to be a busy but fun-filled day!

Of course on Saturday, daddy made it a point to take Bethany out for her special date. Sarah had gotten to go out with daddy for her birthday so Bethany had been waiting anxiously for her turn! They had lunch together at a nearby cafe and had a great time together.
