Holiday Treats....
We made some desserts to take to church on Sunday for our Agape Thanksgiving Meal. Both were a hit and we had fun making them as they are super easy! Thought I would share them with you.
2 large cans of pumpkin
1 12 oz can of sweetened condensed milk
1 12 oz can of sweetened condensed milk
1 box of yellow cake mix
1 cube of butter
chopped nuts....optional
1 cube of butter
chopped nuts....optional
Mix pumpkin and milk and spread into a greased 9x13 inch pan. Crumble dry cake mix over the top. Drizzle melted butter on top of the cake mix. Add nuts if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately one hour or until done. Serve with a big dollop of whipped cream and or maybe a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!
Turkey Cupcakes
cupcakes
chocolate frosting
oval shortbread cookies...I used Keebler Sandies Right Bites
candy corn
black decorating gel
red fruit leather
Bake some cupcakes and frost with chocolate frosting when cooled. Press in cookie head and wings. Add a row of candy corn for the feathers. Add a dot of black gel for the eye. For the beak, cut off the white tip from a piece of candy corn and press into place. For the wattle, cut a small strip of fruit leather, roll it into a tube and stick it in place over the beak.
