Gone Fishing...

Today we took a drive and visited a trout farm...

We got some worms and started fishing!

Jared was the patient fisherman, and his patience paid off! He caught the most fish-three within about 15 minutes! He just kept reeling em in!

Looks like a big one!

It's a keeper!

Daddy shows Jared how to get the hook out...

Bethany waits for her fish to bite...

Sarah has been asking to go fishing for years! She can't wait to catch her first fish! Come on Sarah, you can do it, I know you can!

...and then finally GOTCHA!

And last but not least, Sarah makes a catch too! HURRAY!

Now here's the best part...the nice lady at the trout farm cleans them for us and sends us home with a bag full of fresh trout!


$20 + 1 hour of casting, baiting and reeling=8 fresh trout for lunch!

Now that's a successful fishing trip folks!
