A Perfect May Mother's Day....

The day before Mother's Day we took a picnic lunch to Silver Falls State Park to enjoy some sunshine and scenery. We have visited this park many times and never tire of returning! We enjoyed a nature walk with several others, and learned to recognize some of the wildflowers found along the trails. It was a wonderful day spent with my wonderful family!



After we returned home we had our dessert...a homemade Butterfinger cake made by Asa and the girls in the wee hours of the morning...while I was still asleep! Now that was a lovely aroma to wake up to folks! I am so blessed!
