Girls day out...
It all started here...
After letting the girls spend their $10 gift cards that they earned participating in the summer reading program at the library, we went here for some yummy lunch...
After eating a few too many bread sticks we headed for Portland to take in this...
Thanks to the elevator operator, who gave us some inside information, we afterwards met the star of the show, "Miss Christine Daae " herself and enjoyed a backstage tour! We saw all the props, fog machines, wigs, costumes etc. backstage and got a real feel for what goes on behind the curtain. It was amazing how many things move up and down and all around on the stage... what a treat!
We then crossed the street to play in the Keller fountain...
And ended the afternoon with some of this before heading home...

That is so funny:) About once a month my mom, sis, sis-in-law and I will have a girls night out. Occasionally we will have dinner at Olive Garden, spend a couple hours at Barnes and Noble, and grab a Starbucks for the way home lol. This is a special treat we do once or twice a year:)
Sometimes my dad will BBQ dinner for all the daddies while the mamas have the evening off.
So fun:)
oh! Rebekah and I went to that the friday before! What a treat! It was so beautiful! :-)
