A trip to the farm....

This week the kiddos and I took a drive to visit the grandparents. It is always a fun trip because they live on a small farm. There are "a-minals" to play with...as my youngest daughter would say and lots of room to run! The "a-minals" include 6 hens, 2 cats...named Willy and Missy...a dog named Molly...and now a pot-belly pig named...what else? Wilbur! This was my first drive down alone as my darling husband had to work. The farm is 2 hours south of us. We had planned to go down as a family last weekend but most of us had some lovely virus, and so as to spare everyone of our cooties, we postponed the trip until all was well. The kids had fun picking pumpkins in the garden, gathering squash and tomatoes and chasing Wilbur and the cats around the yard. We also celebrated a birthday and enjoyed some yummy chocolate cake! UMMMM GOOD!
